Xixi’s beautiful building, 2021
handwritten Notes (Written during the social movement in 2019,) gun-powder, branches from Hong Kong, ceramic honeycomb
This space is formed from three pieces. The work starts from a walkway made with cement, and then goes into the entire space. There is a short paragraph written on the wall, which is from a well-known Hong Kong poet Xixi: “At the time, All the people did their best to improve the environment and neighborhood they had, which is like numerous arms appear in the sky, and they hold up a ship that has nearly been sank.” There is a handmade pencil right next to it, and a landscape drawn by the pencil. It is a piece of glass which has a print of a sticky memo on it, and they were put on top of two tiles of square notes. There are plenty of green boxes piled up and a ceramic honeycomb on top of them space.
